Look At The Beauty…Why am I so Tired?

Spring is a wonderful time for growth. We feel ourselves waking up to our own capacities for transformation, color and light, rebirth and renewal. We have new ideas. We try putting the impulse for change into action…planting, reading, painting, hiking, exercising, asking ourselves important questions we have been avoiding.
In this joyful time of imagining possibility and of witnessing the natural world in all its glorious immensity, sometimes we are still exhausted at the end of the day.
Sometimes those questions are asking us to stop adding more in…but rather to let go of something.
We might be being asked to let go of things that are no longer serving us.
Letting something die so that something new may arise is scary…we long for safety.
As we look around for support in our vulnerable state of indecision while standing on the edge of change…we can only see others as mundane or selfish and needy. Who is available to listen to us and hold us?
Because other things are changing too.
Our children have new needs…just when we thought we figured out what we need, our partners, our community, our country…everyone is waking up to change. And with this waking up…we feel pulled upon. Everyone needs something. There is so much to be done…and so many needs to be met…we feel our energy draining.
You already have everything you need to begin and be carried through change. It will be difficult. A seed swelling and pushing aside the dirt to reach up and find the light is difficult. It takes long restful preparation.
Give yourself the grace of preparation…knowing you have been doing the preparation all along.
Now, in your new awakened state, prepare consciously.
And if you are ready to invite assistance, I will gently support you in your transformation.
